The Philosophy of C腹侧天主教 H本学校

C腹侧天主教 H本学校, founded by the 马里斯特兄弟thers of the 学校s, participates in the educational ministry of the 天主教 Church.

Its purpose is threefold:

to have students develop a relationship with Jesus 和 bear witness to His mess年龄,
to build a community that respects 和 promotes the dignity of every person, 和
to help students develop their God-given talents 和 use them in the service of others.

这所学校, inspired by the spirit of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the 马里斯特兄弟thers, seeks to emulate the role of Mary through the nurturing of youth by a caring 教师和 in the showing of a special concern for the less fortunate.

To achieve these ends, C腹侧天主教's college preparatory curriculum 和 its extra-curricular 活动 are designed to foster the spiritual, 道德, 知识, emotional 和 physical growth of the whole person.

C腹侧天主教 promotes a respect for democratic ideals 和 recognizes the value of a student body, which respects diversity of cultural, 少数民族, 和 social backgrounds.

As 马里斯特s educators who follow in the footsteps of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, we are called to evangelize 和 make Jesus Christ known 和 loved through the complete education of young men 和 women.

We accompany our students in their development as people who are rooted in Gospel 和马里斯特 values, who develop into good Christians 和 good citizens, “harmonizing faith, culture 和 life.”

As such, 马里斯特 students should be:

信仰-filled Disciples: 马里斯特 students come to possess a strong sense of God 和 a personal relationship with Jesus, Mary 和 Saint Marcellin fostered through religious formation, a sacramental life, 和祈祷.
Empowered Witnesses: 马里斯特 students, recognizing Mary as their model 和 companion, become joyful witnesses to God’s love in their lives, enabling them to see Christ in others, 简单地生活, 道德ly 和 with integrity, respecting all of life 和 creation.
Agents of Justice 和服务: 马里斯特 students grow in their underst和ing of 天主教 social teaching 和 st和 in compassionate solidarity with the least favored.

We condemn thoughts, words, 和 actions that harm one’s humanity. We call each other to follow Jesus’ example of love.

Introduction to the Declaration of Diversity, Equity, 和包容

Dear Members of the C腹侧天主教 Family,

Thank you for taking the time to read our Declaration of Diversity, Equity, 和包容. I am grateful to a great many of our 教师和工作人员 who have 工作ed diligently to prepare this important statement. I am also proud of the contribution of students 和校友 who have shared their experiences 和 whose passion is reflected in our Declaration.

C腹侧天主教 H本学校 is 和 should be a learning community, 和, 像这样, we should continually grow in our knowledge of what is true 和 good. We recognize that, as a human institution, we do not always live up to the ideals that we set for ourselves, but we are committed to building a community where the dignity of every person is respected. C腹侧 is a microcosm of our society, 和 while we always strive to live out our mission, we apologize for those times when members of our community have not felt that their whole selves were welcome.

In the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus talks of the shepherd who leaves the 99 to find 和 bring back the one who was lost. To all members of our C腹侧天主教 Family, if you have been one of the 99, we celebrate with you on the pride 和 joy you take in your C腹侧 experience. If you are the one, we are sorry. Our Declaration is our commitment to always look out for all… especially the one who may get lost.

This commitment to diversity 和 inclusion arises from our aspirations about the community we want C腹侧天主教 to be, the experience we hope to provide our students, 和 the 道德 character they will develop during their time with us. It goes to the heart of our mission, to who we are 和 to what we want to be.

We condemn thoughts, words, 和 actions that harm one’s humanity.
